A LIFE TO REMEMBER A LOVE TO CHERISH
Armarnauth Lachhman, affectionately called Amo, was born on December 22, 1959 in the village of Port Mourant, in Guyana. He was the son of David and Janey Lachhman Gocool. He grew up in Guyana and as a young man married Kamee, daughter of Joseph Yank, who hailed from the same village. To their union was born two children, Andrew and Stephanie, he was a devoted husband and a loving father. His children were his pride and joy. He was always family oriented. His brothers, Vernon, Orie, Gopaul and Pepe found him to be caring and dependable.

He did live up to his nickname of Amo, I love, since he always lived a rife of love and loving concern for others. Amo was a fun loving man who enjoyed sports and who played Volleyball at the Nafional level. He was a very hardworking industrious man who migrated to the United States and worked at being a good provider for his family. At the same time, he was always willing and ready to share whatever he had. He prided himself on his strength and was known to pull a washing machine up a flight of stairs. Amo's family and friends will miss his voice and his laughter. He will be missed for his many talents and gifts. He will missed for the excitement which accompanied any discussion about his children and he will be missed for the love and the kindness which he always showed to others.

He will not grow old As we who are left grow old.
Age shall not weary him Nor the years condemn.
In the morning, in the evening And at noontide,
We will always remember him.
