And What if the Sept 11 Museum Had to Be Evacuated?


What if a bomb went off or a fire broke out in the National September 11 Memorial Museum, 70 feet below ground?

The question is not unreasonable. Among other things, the museum, which opened to the public on Wednesday, serves as a reminder that hundreds of people died at the very same place on Sept. 11, 2001, because the exit stairs in the twin towers were catastrophically inadequate. More.
