Description: The Memorial is an Flag Pole with a base in the shape of a the Pentagon on which is the dedication plaque which reads, “This monument honors all those who lost their lives in New York, Washington, D.C., and Pennsylvania on that fateful day. It is also dedicated to all firefighters, police, EMTs, and other emergency personnel who lost their lives in service. Please respect their memory and this monument.” Mementos are often left at the base by those who wish to make a special commemoration.
