At this time, four rose varieties have been established in memory of September 11th. These varieties are available through rose growers. The 'Firefighter Rose' is a vibrant, red rose named for fire fighters. 'Soaring Spirit' is a climbing yellow rose named in honor of the victims at the World Trade Center. 'We Salute You' is a orange-pink rose for those lost at the Pentagon. And 'Forty Heroes' is a golden yellow rose which fades to white as it matures and is named in memory of those aboard Flight 93.
