Description: Purpose: To provide an expression of patriotism and pride about being an American and to teach young people the value of honoring and preserving the beauty of our land.
It has beautiful view of the Tennessee River and is the site of an early settlement garden from 1900.
Hours of gardening and harvesting fresh vegetables, flowers, and herbs.
There is something very healing about putting your hands in the dirt and working with the land. Planting and harvesting provides a place and time for healing to occur.
