Purpose:
To develop a bond between the school, military, and business community in El Paso. To share and rememeber 9-11 and to honor those this country lost on that terrible day.
Reason site was selected:
They wanted to share a memorial project with the community's youth in response to an event that has touched all of America.
Events planned for site:
A placing of a stone memorial, benches, and more pathways on September 11, 2003. As the trees mature, the grove will grow.
