Criteria: The Families of Freedom Scholarship Fund benefits dependent children and spouses of 9/11 victims, including airplane crew and passengers, World Trade Center and Pentagon workers and visitors, and relief workers, including firefighters, emergency medical personnel and law enforcement personnel.

Criteria:The Twin Towers Orphan Fund was founded on September 12, 2001 for the sole purpose of providing educational and welfare assistance to the children who were orphaned (who lost one or both parents) by the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001. The mission of the Twin Towers Orphan Fund is to provide long-term higher educational assistance and mental and physical health care assistance for children who lost parents in the World Trade Center , at the Pentagon, or onboard the four downed airliners

Documentation needed:(Strongly encourage all dependents of victims to register regardless of age, this is an annuity which will accrue over time)

Criteria: The World Trade Center Memorial Scholarship guarantees access to a college education for the families and financial dependents of innocent victims who died or were severely and permanently disabled as a result of the Sept.11, 2001 terrorist attacks on the United States of America and rescue and recovery efforts

Criteria: The New Jersey World Trade Center Scholarship has been established by the legislature to aid the dependent children and surviving spouses of New Jersey residents who were killed in the terrorist attacks against the United States on September 11, 2001, or who died as a result of injuries received in the attacks, or who are missing and officially presumed dead as a direct result of the attacks. Those incurring the full-time cost of attendance at an eligible institution, having lost the financial resources of a parent or spouse, are deemed to have financial need. In 2005-06, qualifying individuals will receive up to $6,500 per academic year, not to exceed the actual tuition, fees, room and board charged. Scholarship amounts may also change as a result of changes in program funding and student’s other available financial assistance. Scholarships will apply to both in-state and out-of-state institutions.

Criteria: The scholarships cover funding for full-time study leading to a degree at undergraduate or Master’s level (or equivalent in further education) in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. You must have lost a parent or guardian in the attacks or have a parent or guardian permanently injured. You must be able to show hardship.

Criteria: The purpose of the fund is ensure that each victim’s child be provided with and opportunity for a private secondary and /or college-level education.
The awarding of funds is primarily based upon individual need, scholastic abilities and community/civic involvement. Each applicant will be considered on his or her merits, on a case by case objective and non-discriminatory basis.
